affigene® Analysis Software

The affigene analysis software is included free of charge with all affigene trender and tracer assays.

The software uses data from the realtime PCR instrument software and provides the user with the results from the run. It states if the run is valid or not.

For a valid run the software gives the user a result for each sample. For a positive sample in quantitative trender assay the titer is given in copies per ml, and in IU per ml (pathogens for which an International Unit is established). A negative sample is presented as "not detected". For an inhibited sample the software tells the user to rerun the sample.
