Smart HBV
Monitoring of Hepatitis B Virus Infection
SmartHBV allows correct monitoring of viral load with high sensitivity and wide dynamic range in a standardized and CE-labelled format utilizing real-time PCR detection.
The SmartHBV kit contains a FAM labelled-Scorpion® primer and a paired non-labelled primer, specific for a portion of HBV DNA. A thermo-stable DNA-polymerase is used in a PCR reaction. Where amplification occurs, a quantitative result is obtained by comparison with a standard curve. An internal control is simultaneously amplified to ensure that the sample is free of PCR inhibitors. The Smartsoft analysis software performs the analysis and interpretation of results.
